Photo Stacking Made Simply

Steven shows how easy it is to make a start in popular technique of focus stacking, used to combine multiple images taken at different focus distances to give a resulting image with a greater depth of field than any of the individual source images.

Agenda:

  • Introduction
  • Why – “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly”
  • Early Days
  • Meringue
  • Bouquet of Flowers
  • Suggestions, Advice, & Guidelines
  • Final Thoughts

To speed demonstrations screenshots of previously prepared focus stacking exercises have been included in the talk.

Plenty of large prints to view at the start of the evening and during the half-time break.

The talk is designed to be given in a 1 hour period, before a 10 minute tea break, in concert with another 1 hour talk.

COVID-19 UPDATE:  Steven is experienced in and happy to give talks and judge remotely using Zoom or any similar technology.
